Traffic Monitor

TrafficMax, PROactive Monitoring & Reporting for Windows 95/98/NT, is an advanced traffic monitor with many proactive features. The product can help monitor Internet usage, block unauthorized access, provide security alerts, and report on network and Internet traffic.

Features include:

• Network & Internet traffic monitoring -- includes enhanced Traffic Matrix and Host Table with display filters
  
• Service level / application tracking by TCP/UDP port -- with user defined ports for new applications
  
• Blocking policies -- block by IP, ports/applications, time, and lists using the SmartFilter(R) Control List from Secure Computing Corporation.
  
• Scheduled reporting with automatic emailed reports -- or export files in HTML, text, JPG, & BMP formats.
  
• Remote monitoring option -- for monitoring remote offices or remote network segments
  
• Traffic alarms and security alerts with user defined notification by email, pager, SNMP trap, or log
  
• Security alerts for unencrypted passwords, ping & flood attacks
  
• Easy to use, easy to read graphical user interface -- displays network traffic statistics in graphical formats

The monitor was developed for Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT and uses the existing Ethernet, Fast Ethernet or Token Ring network cards. TrafficMax requires a Pentium with 32MB RAM (64MB recommended) and Microsoft TCP/IP running.
