The Threaded Penetrator is used in new cable installations in which the hole through the fire barrier has been precut such as a core drilled concrete or masonry. It is constructed of rigid EMT as opposed to the Smooth Penetrator's EMT conduit construction and therefore has a higher fire "hour rating." These Sleeve Systems can be used horizontally or vertically. Be sure to drill for the Sleeve System's Outside Diameter!!! This is our most robust System.
