The Most Rugged Windows Tablet In The World Is Now Shipping

Rugged data collection solution provider, Juniper Systems, Inc., has announced that its new Windows 10 Mesa 2™ Rugged Tablet is now shipping.

LOGAN, UT (PRWEB) - Rugged data collection solution provider, Juniper Systems, Inc., has announced that its new Mesa 2™ Rugged Tablet is now shipping. As the first Windows 10 device produced by Juniper Systems and the only IP68-rated Windows tablet on the market, the Mesa 2 joins a new category of data collection solutions—one that provides users with greater processing power and capabilities.

With Windows 10, the Mesa 2 Rugged Tablet allows users to conduct the entire data collection process—from the initial planning and gathering of data, through data analysis, and finally, through the decision-making process—on the Mesa 2. This is a significant advantage the Mesa 2 provides over Windows Embedded Handheld-operated devices, which require that users upload collected data to a computer for further analysis. With its quad-core processor, the Mesa 2 is powerful enough to even be used in place of a desktop computer.

The Mesa 2 also features additional screen size with a 7-inch display, providing users with ample viewing area, while remaining compact and lightweight. The excellent ergonomics of the Mesa 2’s design reduce its perceived weight, maximizing comfort and minimizing fatigue for all-day use.

Other benefits provided by the Mesa 2 include up to 15 hours of battery life with its additional built-in battery option, an extra-bright, IllumiView™ display for excellent outdoor visibility, along with productivity-boosting features like GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cellular, 1D/2D barcode reader, and RFID. To top it all off, the Mesa 2 features an ultra-rugged build, proven by its outstanding IP68 rating for dust and water, its extreme operating temperatures, and its military-standards design.

“The Mesa 2 Rugged Tablet opens up a host of new opportunities for users with its additional processing power and software versatility,” said Slade Gurr, Product Manager at Juniper Systems. “Mesa 2 users are now able to perform tasks on their tablet that they previously could only perform on a desktop computer back in the office. Analysis and decision-making capabilities are no longer confined to the office—the Mesa 2 brings these capabilities out into the field for more immediate action.”

Juniper Systems will first begin shipping Standard, Geo, and Geo Cell models of the Mesa 2, with additional configurations coming later.
