Telemate.Net and Reese Web to Deploy Internet Security Solutions

N/Anc., a Clearwater, FL-based value added reseller of security products and services, announced today that it will offer software from Atlanta-based <%=company%> that protects against network intrusions by providing detailed reports on firewalls, proxy servers, and intrusion detection devices. Reese Web, established in 1995 as one the first full-service network security value-added resellers, has sold and installed Telemate.Net nationally to city, county and state government organizations, the federal government, law enforcement agencies, banks, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies.

From a single software platform, the Telemate.Net software can access data from multiple network devices in any combination—firewalls, proxy servers, PBX's, and intrusion detection devices—and translate the data into over 200 different detailed usage reports. These reports can be used to help reconstruct the sources and destinations of unauthorized entry into enterprise networks. In addition, network security managers and law enforcement agencies can use the reports to identify specific machines on a network that may have been used in denial of service and other attacks.

Telemate.Net embeds Microsoft's SQL 7.0 relational database and links the detailed network usage data to an embedded organizational directory of users to provide comprehensive reporting. These reports provide the tools to detailed questions businesses have about their network usage. A built-in scheduler can deliver reports by e-mail, web, or print in any desired combination and frequency.
