SSH IPSEC Express To Secure I-Data's VPN Client

i-data Networks (Copenhagen, Denmark), a vendor of secure Internet networking products, has licensed SSH IPSec Express virtual private network (VPN) security technology from SSH Communications Security (San Jose, CA and Espoo, Finland). The Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) toolkit will be integrated into i-data Networks' SafePipe Client product, which connects remote workers and business partners via low-cost, secure VPNs using the Internet.

SSH IPSec Express has been developed in line with the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) IPSec standard and is interoperable with products of other major vendors on the market. IPSec uses strong encryption to secure all Internet applications. i-data Networks' SafePipe product is an IPSec-based VPN device featuring strong cryptography. The product consists of a hardware-based SafePipe 100 at the central site and the software-based SafePipe Client for remote workers.
