Wave's SPEEDLAN XE products are 11 Mbps point-to-point or point-to-multipoint wireless bridges that provide secure wireless connections between locations and provide unique alternatives for Internet business connectivity.

SPEEDLAN XE 3000 & 6000 can transmit data up to 25 miles and is ideal for providing wireless links for ISP's, Telcos and private data networks.

SPEEDLAN XE units can support connections across the street, across town or where wireline simply costs too much or takes too long to install.

The SPEEDLAN XE family represents a significant breakthrough in LAN connectivity by offering high performance wireless connectivity, and full remote management capabilities in an affordable package. This single, self-contained unit plugs directly into a wired network segment and requires no configuration. SPEEDLAN XE automatically senses local traffic, builds internal address tables and operates re-transmission and packet filtering protocols immediately, without user intervention.

SPEEDLAN XE 3000 & 6000 provides network administrators with the ability to restrict traffic based on MAC addresses and Advanced Protocol Filters. It ships standard with IP Routing with wireless encryption available as an option. SPEEDLAN XE is compatible with all IEEE 802.3 and 802.2 LAN devices, all computer platforms and operating systems, and is completely transparent to other network devices. For ease of management, XE can be configured, monitored and analyzed using SNMP.

SPEEDLAN XE units offer long-term value and goes where wires cannot. Since there are no monthly fees of government licenses, XE offers everything needed to bring data networks together conveniently and cost effectively.
