The Graybar Storefront of B-Line the increasing concern of protecting heavier loads and securing telecommunication and data-communication equipment against the destructive forces of earthquakes, the company created a Seismic Cabinet made with extra internal bracing and all-welded construction. The cabinets are built to remain completely functional during and after an earthquake, keeping junctions, patch panels, phone lines and data networks operating long after the initial disaster is over. In tests done to simulate earthquake motion in a high-risk, Zone 4 area, the cabinets met and exceeded standards in accordance to NEBS GR-63-CORE and ANSI Standard T1.329.
The cabinets are available in three sizes: 84 x 29 x 30 in., 84 x 24 x 24 in., and 72 x 29 x 30 in. The company also supplies a seismic anchoring kit with each cabinet for additional security.
