Retina is a network security scanner and monitor that helps discover and fix all known security vulnerabilities on your Internet, Intranet and Extranet systems. Retina includes easy to navigate reporting tools to help you prioritize and isolate high priority fixes giving you total control over auditing your network security and open gateways to your internal network.

There are various other network auditing tools on the market, however, most of them are lacking in features and real world security auditing. Retina on the other hand is designed to work like a human network security analyst. Artificial Intelligence logic is built in to handle "What If" and "In Case" scenarios.

Retina works with plug-in modules. These plug-in modules can be written in any programming language. eEye will soon be releasing a full API to the Retina reporting engine. What this means is that you can write your own network specific test routines and incorporate them in the full auditing procedures, including your own warnings, alerts and actions to be taken to correct the problem.

Retina contains an easy to navigate graphical user interface. This interface can easily be used to control all aspects of scanning and reporting features.

Retina includes Fix-It technology, a feature that allows you to automatically correct common system security issues including registry settings, file permissions, and more.

Auto Update
Retina includes an auto-update feature which allows for continuous update for its modules using an Internet connection. This feature will allow you to update Retina's modules on a regular basis keeping pace with the latest vulnerabilities.

Open Architecture
Retina has an open architecture which allows you to develop your own vulnerabilities tests and auditing modules.

Smart Scanning
Retina includes an artificial intelligence module which makes it smarter about pinpointing real world vulnerabilities.
