Designed for environments such as e-commerce and departmental file sharing the system does not require specialized software or upgrades to the network, and offers the ability to allow users to store and access information simultaneously from UNIX and Windows NT networks.

NasStar, the operating system at the heart of Synchronection to supports Checkpoints a.k.a. Snapshots, Automated Network Processor Failover (ANPF), NIS and NIS+ support, automated reporting and other features. There are no extra modules to buy.

Synchronection 2 builds upon the proven architecture of Storage Engine, Inc nix Fault Tolerant RAID Storage. ECCS has maintained separation of Data Fault Tolerance and Network Fault Tolerance to give you the best overall protection and performance in the filer niche.

Storage Engine, Inc nection 2 system is now being offered at a price of 12 cents per megabyte. The pricing applies to systems designed for private networks or Internet applications and is based on a minimum purchase of 1.5TB.
