Corning Cable Systems Plug & Play Systems are optical fiber cabling systems designed for the customer premises environment. These innovative systems reduce installation time and cost, for both end-users and contractors, by offering factory terminated cables. The systems' modular design guarantees compatibility, flexibility, and system performance for all optical connection spans.

Corning Cable Systems offers the following products to provide a "tip-to-tip" solution from the desktop to the data center:
1. Jumpers to connect the desktop to the fiber optic outlet
2. Prestubbed Outlets to establish optical connections to the telecommunication closet
3. Prestubbed Telecommunication Closets to establish optical connections to the fiber distribution center
4. Jumpers to connect the main cross-connect to data centers
5. Preconnectorized Cables to establish connections at the already installed hardware base

These products are available preconnectorized on both ends, or connectorized on one end only.
Assemblies with only one end connectorized can be completed on site with field-installable connectors or splicing. These modular designs make it possible to customize the optical system, to upgrade it when needed, and to use all components independently from each other.
