PC Cards

The Net 100 Communicator, a combination card featuring 56K (V.90) modem and 10/100 Ethernet communications with a CardBus interface, and its Net 100 CardBus and Net 100 Fast Ethernet network interface cards (both also feature the 10/100 Ethernet connections) are additions to this company's PC Card communications product line.

The Communicator is a 56 K flex modem that supports both digital and analog land and cellular phone lines including AMPS-Motorola and Nokia and GSM-Ericsson and Nokia. Internationally, the card is compatible with cellular and land lines in Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The card has direct connect cables that connect to the PC Card as well as to the modem and Ethernet ports with an RJ11 and RJ45 plug, respectively. The Ethernet features of all three of the cards offer Full-Duplex for a maximum throughput of 200 Mbps. The cards support both 10Base-T and 100Base-TX networks and automatically recognize and configure to the network being used. The cards are Type II PC Cards and feature power management controls that minimize power consumption. The Net 100 Communicator and Net 100 CardBus card support Windows ‘95, ‘98 and NT. The Net 100 Fast Ethernet card supports those as well as Windows 3.x.
