Ortronics, Berk-Tek Launch NetClear

Copper and fiber cabling solutions vendors Ortronics, Inc. (New London, CT) and Berk-Tek (New Holland, PA) have formed a technology and marketing alliance to develop a high-capacity, clear data transmission system called NetClear. The end-to-end structured cabling system is engineered to emphasis maximum channel capacity. NetClear incorporate all of the combined companies' horizontal and backbone products, including interface cords, workstation outlets, modular cross-connect patch panels, and enhanced frequency horizontal and backbone cables. All components are precision-matched to work in unison for a clear and balanced transmission signal.
Ortronics specializes in commercial Category 5 copper, Category 5e, and the proposed Category 6 enhanced frequency channels; fiber optic; residential/SOHO structured cabling systems. Berk-Tek, an Alcatel (Paris) company since 1993, is a manufacturer of more than 100 different network copper and fiber optic cable products.
