N+I 2000: IRE and RSA Security Partnership Strengthens Internet Security

Information Resource Engineering (IRE)vate network (VPN) technology vendor Baltimore-based <%=company%> announced at Networld+Interop the company has partnered with RSA Security (Bedford, MA) to ensure its SafeNet technology seamlessly interoperates with RSA Security's products. The two companies have tested and certified interoperability between SafeNet/Soft-PK Version 4 and the RSA Keon. Certification is underway for RSA SecurID solutions.

More than six million users worldwide take advantage of RSA Security's two-factor authentication products. This strategic partnership with RSA Security has enabled IRE to complement SafeNet's VPN technology with RSA SecurID. SafeNet/Soft-PK recognizes the request for authentication and allows the user to quickly take advantage of its standards-based VPN client.

The two companies are also participating in joint marketing activities. To kick-off the relationship, IRE is showcasing its SafeNet/Soft-PK client in RSA Security's partner pavilion at Networld + Interop in Las Vegas this week. IRE security experts can be seen in booth #7733 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
