Netscout Systems Expands Into Europe Through Partnership

As a major part of a strategy to grow its international presence by partnering with systems integrators throughout Europe, NetScout Systems Inc. (Westford, MA) has formed an alliance with Siemens Network Systems Ltd. (SNSL; Hemel Hempstead), the U.K.'s largest network integrator. SNSL specializes in the design and implementation of intelligent multi-vendor enterprise-wide networks. Under the newly signed agreement, SNSL will deliver NetScout's network management software and instrumentation with its integration services for large enterprise and service provider customers.

NetScout Systems is a developer of business-oriented network management products based on the company's application flow management (AFM) technology. AFM uses application traffic information collected by NetScout's instrumentation. NetScout's AFM products address network optimization and fault isolation, capacity management, application performance measurement and reporting, and usage-based billing.
