The Mini-Zipcord cable complements the the MT-RJ and allows for cable management at high-density patch panels and LAN electronic applications. Previously, MT-RJ cable assemblies used either a standard two-fiber cable with a 4.8-millimeter (mm) diameter, standard two-fiber zipcord with a profile of 3.0 x 6.1-mm, or in the case of previous AMP assemblies, a mini two-fiber cable with a 2.8-millimeter diameter. This product reduces the size of the cable by 40% with a profile of 1.8 x 3.7-mm.
