Media Converter Chassis

N/A022 meets Class B emissions standards conformance with its newest V-series media converter chassis. This will enable the company to provide media conversion solutions to markets that demand hardware with very low electromagnetic interference (EMI) such as schools, hospitals and governments with high security requirements.

The emission standards for Class B are more stringent than those required for CE EN55022 Class A, to which other media conversion products are certified; it is typically 10 dB quieter than Class A. Currently, IMC Networks is the only vendor of media conversion products that manufactures to this level of conformance.

The iMcV/18x is an 18-slot chassis that hosts IMC Networks' newest hot-swappable, SNMP-manageable iMcV Series of copper-to-fiber and fiber-to-fiber conversion modules. It also features dual, redundant AC or DC power supply modules for increased fault resiliency. This chassis is ideal for enterprise or campus environments needing to integrate fiber with existing or lower-cost copper-based switch products.
