The LMC5200P is an industry standard PCI card that provides a high performance WAN connection using the High Speed Serial Interface (HSSI). The LMC5200P plugs into a 33 MHz slot in computers or servers with a standard PCI bus. The HSSI standard, operating at up to 52 Mbps, is widely utilized for broadband applications exceeding 2 Mbps. The adapter supports HDLC framing required for Frame Relay and PPP connectivity.
