Opticom's iView software is a suite of infrastructure management applications designed to empower IT professionals and service providers to transform infrastructure intelligence to accelerate the evolution of Internet-powered business. By providing more than just performance metrics, iView consolidates executive-level information on service levels, availability of networked facilities, capacity trends, and asset inventory. iView is automated for ease of use and provides web-based reports for flexible, task-oriented problem solving. Its open, standards-based design leverages existing investments in the management infrastructure by providing easy integration of information from network, systems and application management platforms.

The iView application suite includes:

ExecutiveView or iView Reporter/Collector – Gathers and displays information about all installed modules for viewing from any authorized workstation or Web browser. Includes report calendars for quick access to any daily, weekly, monthly or yearly reports.

Availability - Provides information on the reliability of equipment and services, summarized by vendor, family and product/service. Supports vendor assessment.

Service - Measures impact of end-to-end service delivery throughout the network. Verifies SLA's and determines how outages impact users.

Asset - Automated network asset management tool that summarizes asset data such as vendor, serial number, equipment location, and revision levels.

Capacity - Information about utilization of devices, network links and information flow with current and historical performance and trend analysis.

Systems – Automatically tracks and reports on systems and applications metrics.

Version Control – Automatically tracks every managed device connected to the network for compliance with specified hardware and firmware revision levels.
