Interleaver

Gould Fiber Optics' Interleaver is a compact, all-fiber-based device designed to fulfill DWDM system's increasing demand for bandwidth. The expanding wavelength structure permits multiple incoming wavelengths in one port to be divided into two larger, equally spaced interlaced wavelengths with low insertion loss. The high isolation in the mux/demux configuration allows various applications the capability to pass signals with little disturbance between ports. The innovative passive, athermal package of the Interleaver provides a compact packaging solution while decreasing the overall power consumption of a system unlike active temperature controlled devices.
