Ramp Networks, Inc. 450i ISDN Digital Subscriber Line (IDSL) router is a IDSL shared Internet access system for the small office that includes virtual private networking (VPN) and access controls. This product is best suited for small offices and branch offices that require a constant connection for bandwidth-intensive applications but are located far from the nearest Central Office (CO).
It is Copper Mountain-compatible and provides connection speeds of 64 kpbs. It operates through Digital Loop Carriers (DLCs) and ISDN repeaters. For a direct connection to the CO, IDSL provides symmetric transmission speeds up to 144 kbps at distances up to 36,000 feet. It includes access controls that allow network administrators to control individual Internet access and can be limited to the use of the Internet by computer, time of day and application.

- A DNS server with DNS caching
- Configuration using either a range of registered IP addresses or sharing a single address using NAT and DHCP
- Configuration with the EasyRamp suite of integrated software including EasyIP, EasyStart, Express Internet and EasyChain
- Management features including a command-line interface (Telnet or console), a browser-based interface and configuration scripting tools.
