Huawei And Industry Partners Unveil Next-Generation High-Quality Hotel Network Solution For Europe At HCE 2025
- Wi-Fi 7 hotel network solution for Europe unveiled at HCE 2025
- Key innovations: Channel State Information (CSI), integrated sensing, enhanced security features
- Strong industry collaboration to drive digital transformation and set new standards for hospitality networks
At Huawei Connect Europe 2025 (HCE 2025) in Madrid, Huawei and Cerium, technological integrator for hotels, jointly unveiled the Xinghe Intelligent High-Quality Hotel Network Solution for Europe. The hotel ecosystem has been upgraded based on Wi-Fi 7 technology, introducing innovative breakthroughs in Channel State Information (CSI), integrated sensing and communication, and comprehensive security. These innovations provide guidance for the development and application of WLAN technology, helping to build a green, energy-efficient, and secure wireless network ecosystem.
A New Era Begins: Wi-Fi 7 & AI Campus in Focus
Changhai Xie, Director of the Huawei Spain Solution and Sales Department, delivered the opening speech and shared insights on European Data Communications market trends and Huawei’s latest strategies in this evolving landscape. He stated: “This year marks a significant milestone—HCE returns to Spain after a decade, now hosted in Madrid for the first time. We are here to explore a transformative topic: ‘Wi-Fi 7 & AI Campus: Powering the Shift from Connectivity to Intelligence’.”
Victor Jimenez, President of Connectivity Commission AMETIC Association, stated: “Connectivity must be addressed as a critical need, requiring adequate levels of availability, quality, and end-to-end (E2E) experience assurance, tailored to each usage scenario, both current and future.” As president of the AMETIC Association, Jimenez outlined Wi-Fi 7's potential impact across industries and highlighted how Huawei, as a technology leader, enables partners and customers to envision a brighter future.
Transforming Campus Networks: Zero Roaming and CSI Sensing
In addition, Xiao Qian, Vice President of R&D, Huawei Data Communication Product Line, stated in his speech: “Wi-Fi 7 Advanced is beyond Wi-Fi 7, it allows us to build an intelligent wireless network, featuring superfast experience in smart spaces with full-scope security.” Qian showcased Wi-Fi 7 Advanced applications, including Zero Roaming, Wi-Fi Shield, and CSI sensing, all designed to foster a more sustainable and intelligent network ecosystem.
Dirk Trossen, Secretary General of the Datacom Industry Association (DIA), shared DIA’s vision for Wi-Fi certification, emphasizing the importance of vertical requirements and data-driven testing. He described the goal of creating a “digital communication fabric”—an interconnected network of innovative edge systems that span across industries.
At the roundtable event, Rui Luis Aguiar, Chair of the Steering Board of Networld Europe and Co-chair of the Networks and Multimedia area at Instituto de Telecomunicações of Portugal, pointed out that deployments are rarely in "green field" scenarios but often involve "brown field" environments. He also highlighted the challenge of the "human dimension"—the need to properly engage technical departments and align them with digital transformation visions to ensure the sustainable integration of new technologies.
Supporting Europe’s Digital Decade
Ran Xiao, Vice President of Huawei Technologies, emphasized in collusion that “Through today’s constructive sharing and discussion, we have reached a broad consensus that, moving forward, all segments of the industry value chain should focus on addressing customers’ core pain points and needs, enhancing the consumer experience in high-value application scenarios and ensuring a sustainable commercial investment cycle. Based on technological innovation, the industry should foster cross-regional and cross-organizational demonstration benchmarks to accelerate the transition from pilot testing to large-scale commercial deployment. Huawei, as a leader in datacom, will leverage its strong technological foundation and extensive industry experience to work closely with ecosystem partners and to support Europe in achieving the ‘Digital Decade’ strategic objectives by 2030.
Looking ahead, Huawei will continue to invest in the research, development, and innovation of campus network technologies, working together with European partners and customers to inject strong momentum into the digital transformation of enterprises.
