Pass & Seymour/Legrand today introduced its new residential Home Network Center
Pass & Seymour/Legrand today introduced its new residential Home Network Center. The modular designed center configures quickly to support every type of home network, from phone to cable, satellite and closed-circuit television, computer, home office and audio to meet today's homeowner's needs.

"Distributors and contractors are telling us that the homeowner is asking for more technologically advanced electrical options in their home," said Pat Rando, product manager. "As a result, Pass & Seymour/Legrand has developed a Home Network Center that allows the homeowner to have easy access to the latest broadband and high speed digital services and enables them to distribute audio, video, voice or data to any location throughout their home."

Components of the Home Network Center include phone modules that support up to four lines and easily reassign phone outlets in any room to any line. The phone outlets are also flexible and can be used as data outlets. A home office option allows up to eight incoming lines that can be routed to 36 different locations within the structure.

Video modules make configuring cable and satellite television quick and simple. As a result, homeowners will be able to create a video network that can redistribute antenna, CATV, satellite, DVD, VCR and camera signals to any television.

Homeowners can benefit from the safety of home security by installing a camera module that lets them monitor up to four cameras from any television. Power to those cameras would go through coax cable with no separate transformers or power wiring required.
