The Small Workgroup Edition of Gold-Fax Version 5.2 for Windows NT/2000 operating systems enables smaller organizations to implement all the functionality of Gold-Fax Version 5.2 at a cost and with features appropriate to their needs. The new edition includes a complete five-user, one-fax-line, Gold-Fax license, with extra features unique to this product.

The company's Gold-Fax enterprise fax server, the high-performance product for Windows NT/2000 and Microsoft Exchange, is fully scalable and supports from one to 72 fax lines per server. Gold-Fax can be used to automate fax communications by an organization, from small workgroups to enterprise corporate networks.

Because of the software's unique multi-threaded architecture, its send-service runs as a single background service that requires less than two percent of typical CPU power per fax line. This capability allows Gold-Fax to operate effectively in shared-server environments.

The new edition includes a five-user, one-fax-line license (which incorporates all the functionality of Version 5.2); the Gold-Fax SMTP Gateway, which allows sending from many SMTP-compliant e-mail packages; a MultiTech fax modem; 30 days of customer support; and the company's new Installation Tutorial Guide. The kit also operates with Windows Terminal Server and Citrix MetaFrame.

Additional features and available options include:

• Least-cost routing with load balancing
• Graphical status and management reporting
• Microsoft Management Console support
• Automatic routing with DID (added hardware required) and Caller Station ID routing
• Web browser interface and Internet faxing (Optional)
• Developer's Toolkit, which includes ActiveX Control and Keyboard support for sending faxes from any Windows application (Optional)
