Designed to offer protection for the latest high-speed Internet connection technologies, version 2.0 of the software supports live encryption of direct PC-to-PC communications such as chat, Internet phone, and file sharing over the Internet.

ConSeal Private Desktop enables users to employ encrypted PC-to-PC communications with ConSeal Private Links, also known as CPLinks. CPLinks dynamically encrypts and protects applications between users either on a local area network or over the Internet. It works seamlessly and automatically with any application that uses the Internet protocol (IP) for communication.

Available in versions supporting Windows 95/98 and Windows NT, ConSeal Private Desktop offers a level of PC security previously unavailable to the consumer and small business marketplace. It is easy to install and use and works silently in the background to protect PCs from intruders on the Internet.

ConSeal Private Desktop delivers maximum security by inserting itself beneath the operating system, allowing it to investigate all network packets before they are delivered to or from any network or dialup device. Offending packets, incorrect information or network attacks are discarded without any interruption to a desktop's operating system or applications. All communication applications are protected, as well as PC operating system services including file and printer sharing. With an easy-to-use interface and fully automatic operation, ConSeal Private Desktop is an ideal security solution for users who need to block all unwanted intrusions without having to become security experts.
