Videoconferencing Desktop System

A videoconferencing desktop system, Trinicom 500Plus, enables users to connect to an ever-expanding group of desktop and group-based videoconferencing systems around the world. The system consists of a 32-bit PCI board, a camera, handset and software. The system offers users the flexibility of having a videoconference using the ISDN network (H.320-compliant), or via their own company LAN (H.323-compliant).

The company has incorporated the NCam camera, which is smaller than most other cameras. Enhanced video technology delivers a similar video output on the PC monitor.

The board can be installed in a PC running Windows 95 or Windows NT Workstation 4.0. Comprehensive icons make the system's user interface user-friendly. The system is also a data-sharing tool. The data-sharing software is Microsoft NetMeeting (T.120 compliant).
