Cabletron to Resell Singlepoint Systems' AlarmPoint

Enterprise-class networking equipment vendor Cabletron Systems (Rochester, NH) will use AlarmPoint software from software developer Singlepoint Systems Inc. (San Jose, CA) as an alarm notification system for Spectrum Enterprise Manager, Cabletron's enterprise network management operating system. Cabletron will resell AlarmPoint, which has been certified to integrate with Spectrum and provide network systems personnel critical event notification by pager, phone, or e-mail through a user-customized escalation notification process.

AlarmPoint works with or without Spectrum Alarm Notification Manager (SANM), an optional application that allows alarm dispatching with policy based filtering. AlarmPoint runs on Windows NT, and supports multiplatform clients. Available immediately through Cabletron resellers, AlarmPoint starts at a list price of $4,995.
