Telmax Communications Corporation0 asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) remote access unit that enables network service providers to offer telephone, fax or modem service in addition to high speed data over a single copper pair.

Telmax Communications Corporation0 is a next generation splitterless VoDSL residential/SOHO gateway providing ëfull rateî ADSL high-speed data transport along with four 64kbps ìderivedî voice channels over a single copper pair linking branch offices, home offices and individual subscribers to their Network Service Providers, including Internet Service Providers. Telmax Communications Corporation0 design supports CPE interface options such as 4 port integral Ethernet hub, USB or HPNA.

Using industry standard Discreet Multi-Tone (DMT) technology, Telmax Communications Corporation0 supports the ANSI T1.413 issue 2 standard, TR 57 and TR909. The initial release of the product will interoperate with Jetstreamís voice gateway and followed quickly by releases supporting other vendorsí voice gateways.

Telmax Communications Corporation0 interfaces to central office DSL Access Multiplexers (DSLAMs) at speeds from 32 kbps to 8 Mbps downstream and from 32 kbps to 1 Mbps upstream, selectable in increments of 32 kbps. The Central Office equipment provides Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) aggregation over ADSL to each copper loop, resulting in a robust quality of service.

Telmax Communications Corporation0 requires no line conditioning on the pairs, providing binder group integrity along with pairs carrying traditional POTS service. Telmax Communications Corporation0 is designed for use worldwide, providing selectable A-law and -law PCM analog conversion. The four 64 Kbps clear channel lines provide all telco CLASS service (caller ID, call waiting, selective ringing, etc.) plus fax and modem capability without compression, bit robbing or statistical multiplexing and echo cancellation.

The upstream and downstream data rates are dynamically allocated across the DMT spectrum to minimize noise and maximize service reliability. Each session automatically re-configures the rate to attain optimal communication. Using industry standard interface options such as Internet Protocol (IP) over Ethernet and IP over ATM, Telmax Communications Corporation0 immediately connects customers to synchronous and asynchronous networks.

Telmax Communications Corporation0 is easily installed over an existing analog telephone service, supporting analog voice along with state-of-the-art digital services.
