ADIC Expands Reach Through Distribution Agreement with Bell Microproducts

Advanced Digital Information Corp. and Bell Microproducts Inc. have entered into a national distribution agreement to expand the channel for ADIC storage products, making them available to OEMs, VARs, and system integrators throughout the US and Canada. Under terms of the deal, Bell Microproducts will distribute ADIC's full line of autoloaders, mid-range tape libraries, and Fibre Channel connectivity products used for data-intensive applications.

The ADIC product family supports a number of technologies from DLT and AIT tape formats to Fibre Channel Storage Area Networking.

"ADIC's high performance tape libraries and routers—including our Fibre Channel-ready products—will be available at Bell Microproducts along with Fibre Channel host-bus adapters, hubs, and switches from Emulex, Gadzooks, and Vixel," states Bill Britts, ADIC executive VP of sales and marketing.
