Steel Pole Suppliers (SPS) design and produce masts and poles to the SABS 0225 standard for the design and construction of lightning masts. They use specially developed design programs, using the latest computer equipment available. Drawings are then done on AutoCAD.

Masts are galvanised in their own galvanising plant to SABS 763 requirements. SPS's own highly experienced civil and erection crews provide a full turnkey solution. They are used to cast the foundations, erect the masts and install the necessary electrical equipment on site, including electrical reticulation.

The Söll Fall Protection System's critical components are imported from Germany and the remaining components are manufactured by SPS. SPS's current product range includes center-hinged masts, base-hinged masts, internally winched carriage masts, sport stadium platform masts, radio masts, octagonal lighting poles, flag poles, lightning conductors, octagonal transmission poles and outreach arms, including the Söll Climbing Protection System.
