Optical Receiver Node Cable
An optical fiber receiver cable is a preconnectorized assembly built to specification to connect from a splice point to a receiver node location. This product facilitates installation by eliminating the need for an additional splice at the optical receiver. Terminated with a 5/8 in. entry connector, the node cable will mate with all standard optical receivers. This product is available in a variety of configurations to best fit a particular application. The node cable is comprised of a 2-12 fiber optical cable, either armored or all dielectric, with the specified number of fibers broken out to a specific length and terminated with a variety of optical connectors and polish. The unit comes complete with a connector housing / strain relief body that provides superior mechanical protection to the optical fibers as well as attaching directly to the receiver node. The unit has fully water blocked cable design.
