Barracuda Networks won in the Best Enterprise Firewall category after proving the success and overall impact of the Barracuda NG Firewall to the Reader Trust Voting Panel, which is comprised of high-level IT security executives working for organizations across various markets. Products in the Enterprise Firewall category must be organizational firewalls, provide a mechanism to filter incoming and outgoing traffic based on port, protocol, source IP address, destination IP address and have the ability to terminate network traffic based on the aforementioned filtering criteria. Additionally, manageability, ease-of-use and scalability of the Firewall, as well as the customer service, were considered during the judging process.
