Enablence Technologies Integrates & Deploys Trident7 FTTP Access Solution With Servei de Telecommunications d'Andorra

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - Enablence Technologies ("Enablence" or the "Corporation"), a leading supplier of fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) equipment for residential and business services, recently announced that they have successfully integrated and deployed their Trident7 Universal Access Platform to production customers with Servei de Telecommunications d'Andorra (STA).

STA began formal full-scale production deployment of their new all fiber network with production customers on May 5, 2008, which provides triple-play data, IPTV, and VoIP services. The network will ultimately provide advanced IP services to more than 45,000 residential and business customers throughout Andorra. STA's network will utilize the Enablence Trident7 solution as an overbuild replacement for their legacy DSL network.

When asked about Enablence's recent acquisition of Wave7, Mr. Salvat stated that he perceived the acquisition as positive. "The prospects of a full optical and systems level approach to FTTP are very promising. This is an exciting time to be working with Enablence."
